She was predeceased by: her parents, Asbury Sappington and Phyllis Sappington; her husband Mike Kellum; her siblings, Phyllis Kellam and Tom; and her sister-in-law Terri Sappington.

She is survived by: her friends, Auburn and Seagrove; her children, Amy, Matt Cooper, Oskar, Clara, Michael, Jami Kellum, Connor, Parker (Vestavia), Katharyn, John Lowry and Louis (Homewood); and her nieces and nephews, Monte, Kati, Josh and Niki.
