It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lakisha Cargill of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Lakisha departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lakisha may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lakisha leaves behind.
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Roberts Central Park Chapel (1337 Bessemer Rd, Birmingham, AL 35208). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at the Elmwood Cemetery (600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211).
