He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Peek Bryant and Susie Emma Chappell Bryant; his brother Frank P. Bryant Jr.; and his friend Betty Davis. He is survived by: his grandson Morgan Smith; his brother Alex C. Bryant (Jane); his niece Cammie Monroe (Cary); his nephew Alex Bryant Jr.; and his daughter Kayla Wallner (Tristen).

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be sent to the Homebound Ministry of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, 1114 Oxmoor Road, Birmingham, AL 35209.
