Lem C. Stabler Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2025, at the age of 73, Lem C. Stabler Jr. (Birmingham, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane Stabler and Lemmie Stabler; and his pet Gus. He is survived by: his wife Luci Stabler; his daughters, Stacy Huffman, Sarah Shaffield (Justin) and Bethany Venable (Grant); his siblings, Tom Stabler (Catherine), Paul Stabler (Connie), Peggy Hill and Becky Adams; and his siblings-in-law, Tommy Ray (Carolyn), Bo Ray and Patti Nalley (late Bill Nalley).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (914 Oak Grove Rd, Birmingham, AL 35209). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lem's memory may be made to the organizations that supported him and our family through his journey with dementia: Trinity United Methodist Church, Camp ASCCA, Founders Place, Collat, and Encore.
