He was predeceased by: his parent Leonard Wise; and his wife Joan K. Wise. He is survived by: his parent Thelma McDowell Wise; his children, Bruce Wise (Teresa), Kim Rall (Terry) and Brett Wise (Theresa); and his brother Michael Wise. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
