We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2018, at the age of 94, Lessie Sturgill (Birmingham, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Wiley T. Sturgill; and her siblings, Lynore Cornwell, Annalee Sexton and Wallace Paige Bare. She is survived by: her son Tony Sturgill (Karon) of Walnut Cove; her grandchildren, Brad Sturgill (Kristin) of Monteagle, TN and Casey Sturgill of Birmingham, AL; and her great grandchildren, Grady Sturgill and Sloane Sturgill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bare Family Cemetery, c/o Margaret Blevins, 433 Long Street, Jefferson, NC 28640.
