He was predeceased by: his parents, John Banks and Sallie Stewart Banks; his wife Lue Deal Moore Banks; his daughter Bertha Lee Banks; and his siblings, Frank Banks, Laura House, Eddie Banks, Rosa Mae Hawkins, Johnnie Banks House, Dave Banks and Stella Mae Rhone.
He is survived by: his children, Ethel Ree Voltz, Lonnie Banks Jr. and Juanita Banks Green; his grandchildren, Vonnetta Banks Wesley, Charles Banks (Marcia), Darryl Voltz (Latoya), Toni Green Barrett, Nathan Voltz (Kriss), Natasha Voltz and Jakeisha Green Miles (Morris); his siblings-in-law, George Moore (Roberta), John Moore, Edward Wimes, Rosa Lee House, Mozella Green, Bertha Noland, Ruby Wimes (Cornelius) and Juanita Akinleye (Johnson); and his godson Clarence Banks (Elnora). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
