She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Bertram Hitchcock, Sr. and Mary Shealy Combs Hitchcock; her grandparents, James Franklin Hitchcock, Sallie Louise Davis Hitchcock, Robert Varner Combs and Bessie Lee Shealy Combs; her sibling Bert Hitchcock; her sister-in-law Mary Carol Canon Hitchcock; and her sibling's children, Eric Hitchcock (Stacey) and Johanna Hitchcock Martinez (Dante).
