She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Reid and Minnie White Reid; and her husband Vernon Lester McCollom. She is survived by: her son Lester Reid McCollom; and her brother Wallace Reid. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
