We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2018, at the age of 90, Martha F. Whiting (Birmingham, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin E. Whiting; her parents, John B. Falkner and Mattie Falkner (O'Barr); and her brothers, Leon Falkner and Earl Falkner.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Whiting Sr. (Bobbie) and Janie Steele (Chuck); her grandchildren, Steve Whiting Jr., Mary Lauren Posey (David), Candice Elaine Chenault, Stephanie Pilkinton (Adam), Meagan Mitchell (Eric) and Jake Steele (Kristina); and her great grandchildren, Logan Heatherly, Seth Whiting, Wyatt Posey, Shane Whiting, Graham Chenault, Robert Chenault, Jon Ryan Pilkinton, Brentley Mitchell, Colton Steele, Brayton Mitchell and Carleigh Steele. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Trussville.
