She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim and Millie Harville Harris, Sr.; and her siblings, Jim Harris, Jr., William Samuel Harris, John Edward Harris, Willie Mae Moore, Viola Thomas, Anthony Lawrence Harris and Raymond Harris.
She is survived by: her husband John Abernathy; her sisters, Dorothy Pace (William) of Leeds and Reallor Harris of Columbus, Georgia; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Lucille Abernathy of Leeds and Exie Bridges (Jerry) of Birmingham. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great grand children; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
