With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Posey Thomas (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Grandfield, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 2, 2018 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Thomas Gayle and Idella Posey; her son Dan Thomas (Lindy); her grandchildren, Shane Ellis (Amy), David Thomas, Laura Butler (Andy), Carrie Hannis, Frank Ellis (Amber), Justin Thomas, Tracy Voigt (Justin), Emily Thomas and Caitlyn Thomas; her spouse Frank S. Thomas Sr.; her children, Frank S. Thomas Jr., Steven Thomas and Kathy Ellis; her brother Bill Posey; and her granddaughter Amy Thomas. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Prison Fellowship International or the Children's Hospital of Alabama in memory of Mary Thomas.
