She was predeceased by: her husband Lonnie Burton Welch; her parents, M. C. Woodard and Mamie Woodard; and her brothers, James Milton Woodard and John Austin Woodard.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Austin Welch of Birmingham, William Garrett Welch (Lisa) of Birmingham, Wayne Burton Welch (Susan) of Birmingham and Rhonda Welch Anthony (Steve) of Flower Mound, Texas; her grandchildren, Shane Welch, Garrett Welch, Robert Welch, Amanda, Ashley Welch, Mary Todd, Lilly and Haleigh Frances Anthony; her great grandchild Joci Gail Welch; and her sister Carolyn Williams (Lester). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
