She was predeceased by: her husband Luther "Scotty" Herron; her parents, Lois Deadwyler and Pleiades Deadwyler; and her siblings, James "Sonny" Deadwyler, Christine "Teen" Stevens and Betty Deadwyler.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Sewell (Buford) and Lee Herron (Caroline); and her grandchildren, Patrick Herron and Allison Herron. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
