She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Payne and William E. "Bill" Cone, Sr.; and her grandparents, Dora Chadbourne Knowles, James Arch Payne, Sr., Louise Schaefer Cone, James Hamilton Cone and Metropolitan Opera.

She is survived by: her brother William E. "Bill" Cone, Jr. (Sandy); her nephews, Adam Cone (Erica) and Jeff Fairley (Cassie); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Mary Cate, Walker Cone, Keegan and Kyra Fairley; and also DiAnne Beard. She is also survived by cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB, WTI 210, 1720 2nd Avenue South, B'ham, 35294-3300 or to the Highlands United Methodist Church, 1045 20th Street South, B'ham, 35205.
