He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruby Reams Morris; his children, Philip E. Morris, Jr (Michele) and Cindy Morris McDonough (Scott); his grandchildren, Laura Lee Morris Grusin (Adam), Shelby McDonough McClure (Buck), Callie McDonough, Melissa Morris and Cory McDonough; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Grusin and Samuel Grusin.
