He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Lovetto Sr. and Bertha Watts Lovetto; his son Phillip Thomas "Tommy" Lovetto; and his siblings, Sarafino Lovetto, Larry Lovetto and Margaret Woodley.

He is survived by: his wife Diana G. Lovetto; his daughters, Allison McRae, Mary L. Saunders (Michael) and Tracy R. Lovetto; his grandchildren, Paul McRae (Jodi), Alex McRae and Michaela C. Saunders; and his brothers, Johnny Lovetto (Dorothy) and Pete Lovetto (Debra). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
