It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond L. Maglothin (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on October 5, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Maglothin and Ola Pearl Maglothin; his siblings, Jimmy Maglothin, Polly Adair, Opal Russell and Shug Draper; and his granddaughter Julia Alexandria Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Julia Riggs Maglothin; his siblings, Jenette Maglothin Anderson and Daniel Maglothin; his children, Mark Maglothin (Karen), Robin Maglothin Ferguson (Mike) and Terri Maglothin Morgan (Rick); and his grandchildren, Shannon Maglothin (Aniecia), Timothy Maglothin (April), Erin Mariner (Eddie), Shawn Maglothin (Sarah), Kate Maglothin McMellon (Matthew), Jason Leaver (Kendall), Adam Ferguson (Hayley), Sarah Maglothin, Erin Ferguson Sorensen (Matthew), Michael Maglothin (Stephanie) and Benjamin Leaver. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
