Robert Dailey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Dailey (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on August 20, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Archie John Dailey and Fannie Marvin Dailey; and his sisters, Ilene Abbott, Doris Abbott, Rosamond King and Ann Pinker.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Buechner Dailey; his children, Robert Marvin Dailey, Jr. (Julie Myers), John Erwin Dailey (Lisa Giattina) of Trussville, Ala and Susan Dailey Nelson (Tom) of Gilbert, S. C; his grandchildren, Shelbie Dailey Haars, Olivia Dailey (Robert), John Patrick Dailey (Michelle Knowles), David Erwin Dailey (Melinda Knight), Sean Christopher, Amanda Rose, Alissa Marie Dailey (John), Thomas Lafayette Nelson (Jordie Love) and Kathrine Joyce Nelson; his stepgrandson Scott Nelson (Micah Maner); his great grandchildren, M. J. Haars, Casen, Carter Dailey, Eliza and John Emil Dailey; his brother A. J. Dailey (Pat Tidwell) of Mesquite, TX; and his grandsons, J. P. Dailey, David Dailey and Sean Dailey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
