With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Williamson Cole (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on May 28, 2018 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Gwen Cole and Clara Cole; his spouse Betty Hamner Cole of Homewood; his children, Lawrence Cole (Rhonda), Liz Montgomery (Johnny), Virginia Floyd (Michael) and David Cole (Beth); his grandchildren, Clint Cole (Kristy), Sarah Cole, Raymond Woods, Olivia Barrau (Jon), EmmaLee Floyd, Paige Cole, Matthew Floyd, Brooke Cole and Isaac Cole; his great grandchildren, Evie Cleckler and Izzy Cleckler; his brother Larry Cole (Doris); and his siblings-in-law, Ruppe of North Carolina and Ruth Yarbrough of Auburn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in memory of Roger Cole be sent to Dawson Memorial Baptist Church new Hispanic ministry in Fultondale.
