He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gordon Jernigan and Lester Laird Jernigan; his wife Betty Dover Jernigan; his daughters, Pamela Winton (Bill) of Birmingham and Beverly Strange (Bobby) of Birmingham; his grandchildren, Wes Winton (April) of Winchester, TN, Ben Winton (Lara) of Birmingham, AL, Crystal Winton of Tuscaloosa, AL and Justin Strange of Chelsea, AL; and his great grandchildren, Julie, Isaac, Will, Sam and Max.
