With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rudolph Clarence Shrum (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on July 16, 2018 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Shrum Laera (Mario) and Robin Shrum Woodfield (Steve); and his grandchildren, Jennifer W. McCullars (Will), Lisa W. Snowden (Kip), Elizabeth C. Laera and Gena W. Miller (Shain).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Second Presbyterian Church, 1300 Columbiana Road, Homewood, Alabama 25209.
