We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2021, at the age of 68, Sandra Gail Mezzell of Birmingham, Alabama, born in Clinton, Kentucky passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sandra Gail Mezzell to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gayle Mezzell and Margaret Mezzell. She is survived by: her children, Darrel G. Tubbs (Carrie) and Maggie Hagood (Wes); her brothers, Marshall (Joan) and Steve Mezzell (Julie); and her grandchildren, John Sertler, Abby, Ava Hagood, Ford, Jase and Ethen Tubbs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shades Mountain Baptist Church's library fund, or to ovarian cancer research.
