She was predeceased by: her husband James Cannon; her daughter Angie Cannon Harris; her parents, Marcus Otis and Myrtice McDowell Sprayberry; and her sisters, Thelma Ruth Ledbetter and Ola Inez Hughes.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carla Cannon, Lori Bennington Swindall and Patricia Cannon; and her grandchildren, Chris Harris, Sarah Harris Cope, Brandon Madison and Larry Swindall.
