She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Keith Batson; and her grandparents, John Willis Fort and Grace Willis Fort. She is survived by: her mother Kay Fort Batson; her sister Elizabeth Batson Cook (Tony); and her nephews, Anthony Cook, Brian Cook, Fiance and Shannon Moody.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or to a favorite charity.
