He was predeceased by: his parents, Abbie Converse Dasher and Hasen Violet Barnett Dasher; his brothers, Alan Dasher and Abbie Boring Dasher; and his son Matthew Vann Dasher.

He is survived by: his wife Carole Vann Dasher; his children, Theodore Edward Dasher, Jr. (Libby) of Birmingham and Laurie Michele Dasher of Los Gatos; and his grandchildren, Benson Alan Dasher, Anna Grace Dasher, Jared Vigliecca and Alex Vigliecca.
