He is survived by: his niece Amber LeAnn Ogburn; his siblings, Wendy Renae Ogburn (Stanley) of Elba, AL and William Alex Helms (Paula) of Enterprise, AL; his daughter Isabella Smith-Helms of Graceville, FL; his nieces, Jessica Leigh Acosta (Alex) and April Lynn Taylor (Bron); his nephew Aaron Michael Helms (Shea Skinner); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sara Kate Taylor, Dawson Bron Taylor, Amber Selenia Torres-Acosta, Avery Jackson Acosta and Alexander Cole Acosta. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
