He is survived by: his parents, William Curtis Lucas of Calera and Mamie Inez Dykes Lucas of Calera; his siblings, Otis Earl Lucas of Richmond and Ila Lucas Carter of Birmingham; his wife Sylvia; his son William Curtis Lucas, III (Bill); his grandsons, William Lucas of Acworth and Logan Lucas of Acworth; his nieces, Kay Carter Caldwell of Birmingham and Mary K. Lucas Drew of Virginia Beach; and his nephew Chuck Carter of Grand Bay.
