He is survived by: his parents, Louis Houston and Letha Houston; his spouse Christine; his sons, Robert and John; his daughter-in-law Lorie; and his granddaughter Isabelle.

Visitation will be Friday June 15 at 10 to 11 AM followed by a graveside service at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens, 1591 Gadsden Highway, Birmingham AL 35235, 205-655-2536 In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to The American Cancer Society.
