He was predeceased by: his former wife Bernice Caterinichia Semk; his wife Sadie Sharbel Semk; and his siblings, Ann Semk May, Julie Semk Albert, Alex Semk, John Semk and Stanley Semk.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Steven Sharbel (Kelly) of Birmingham and Theresa Sharbel of Birmingham; his grandchildren, Mandy Kelly (Brad), Jacob Gray, Rebekah Laster (Jerrell), Samuel Gray, Jonathan Gray, Caleb Gray, Jacqueline Moorer (Evan), Joseph Naro and Julianne Naro; his stepgrandchildren, Shawn Sharbel and Taylor Sharbel; his great grandchildren, Cole, Luke, Hallie Kelly, Jeremiah, Grayson Laster and Micah Gray; and his stepgreat-grandson Seth Sharbel. He is also survived by 3 daughters.
