He is survived by: his spouse Jacqueline Hanlon McAleer; and his children, Kimberly Coffman Julie Martin (David), Angela Kelly (Bob), William Vincent McAleer, Jr. (Frances) and Mary Jacqueline McAleer.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memoriaIs be made to Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church or Nazareth House (An Apostolate with Persons Having Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities).
