It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Hanson (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Franklin, Georgia, who passed away on August 10, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Crenshaw and Eron Crenshaw; her husband Roy Hanson; her daughter Dorothy Hanson Moseley; her grandson Steven Edwards; her siblings, Mildred Key and Tommie Crenshaw; and her son-in-law Dale Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Gayla McCleney (Jim) and Johnnie Hanson (Jo); her grandchildren, Wendy Klinzak (Jon), Kaye Moman (Joseph), Ashley Hanson and Karen Willingham (Mike); her great grandchildren, Robert Hanson, Jeremy Gipson, Elizabeth Clark, Zack Clark and Christian Gabriel; her sisters, Louise Hopson and Norene Woodruff; her son-in-law Alan Moseley; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Crenshaw. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
