It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Woodrow Atchison (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on November 17, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Nash Atchison; and his children, Robert Atchison and Susan Atchison. He is survived by: his sons, Michael "Mike" Atchison (Michelle) of Fairfax and David Atchison (Laura Nation) of Pell City; his grandchildren, Jonathan Atchison of Gardendale, Robert "Ken" Atchison (Brandi) of Albertville and Graziella Atchison of Oakton; his great grandchildren, Lily and McKenzie Atchison; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Peyton and Tanner Dorsett.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to a charity of choice.
