He was predeceased by: his sister Della Slater. He is survived by: his wife Bettye Slater; his daughters, Ulissia Bumpers (Earnest) of Coffeeville, Jawanika Gilmore (Derrick) of Coffeeville, Angie Slater of Montgomery, Terra Slater of Birminham, Kasandra Napier (Cedric) of Gilbertown, LaTaucha Slater of Bladon Springs and Melissa Jackson of Montgomery; his siblings, Jimmy Slater (Rosetta) of Bladon Springs, Frank Slater Sr. (Annie) of Bladon Springs and Elzora Kirksey of Bladon Springs; and his close friends, Jessie Gilmore and Theodore Taylor. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
