She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Grover and Myrtice Akridge Mitchell. She is survived by : her son Lewis; her daughter-in-law Sue Glassco of Boaz; her daughter Dr. Jessie Lanett; her son-in-law Mark Varnell of Tennessee; and her siblings, Ellis Mitchell, Travis Mitchell, Arnis Poole and Virginia Duke. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren & 7 Great-Great Grandchildren.
