It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Queen Esther Ivory (Boligee, Alabama), who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter Davis and Bessie Davis Eatmon; her husband Leroy Ivory Sr.; her son Leroy Ivory Jr.; her grandson Jerome Deshon Ivory Sr.; and her siblings, Peter Davis Jr., James Davis and Fairy Hyche.
She is survived by : her children, Tony Ivory Sr. (Brenda) of Gainestown, Jerome Ivory (Shaleatha) of Grove Hill, Gregory Ivory of Uniontown, Norma Callier (Guyon) of Mobile, Gwendolyn Leggett (Chris) of Huntsville, Peggy Dickinson (Dwayne) of Jackson, Katina Ivory-Wright (Mack Jr.) of Monroeville and Erica Ivory of Whatley; her sisters, Ruby Tarver of Jackson, N. J., Louella Davis of Willingboro, N. J. and Ruthie Stuckey (Walter) of Birmingham; and her sister-in-law Regusta Payton of Tuscaloosa. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
