She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Clifford and Vernie Norsworthy; her husband Herbert F. Smith; her grandson Derrick Smith; and her siblings, Earl, Bill, Reddox, Wilson, Bobby Norsworthy, Ona Mae Boswell, Olene Amerson, Ruth Cotton and Phyllis Armstrong.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Ivey (John), Terry Smith (Ruth) and Tony Smith; her grandchildren, Adam Smith (Karen), Lance Ivey (Lauren), Katie Smith and Leigh Anna Hall (Bagby); her great grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Jayden Smith, Caden Pirkle, Blake Pirkle, Alyssa Pirkle, Josh Smith and Ivey Hall; and her brother Phillip W (Norsworthy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Turners Funeral Home (360 E 3rd St, Luverne, AL 36049). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
