He was predeceased by : his wife Shirley Faye Jay; and his parents, George Hebert Jay and Marjorie Orr Jay. He is survived by : his children, Chuck Jay (Shirley) of Northport, George Luther Jay (Laquitta) of Demopolis and Lesa Jay Fink (Ivan) of Centreville; his sister Edna Owens of Newbern; and his close friend Della Clausen. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
