He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Byrd and Bennie Purswell Byrd. He is survived by: his children, Gregory Byrd of Atlanta, GA and Vonda Buckhault (Malcolm) of Atmore, AL; his grandchildren, Malorie Buckhault and Brittany Buckhault Kelley (Adam); and his great grandchildren, Payton Kelley and Adalyn Kelley. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Byrd's name to the American Cancer Society.
