It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Jackson of Brewton, Alabama, who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hosie Jackson and Dollie Nelson Jackson; his son Shane Jackson; his brothers, James Clinton, Hosie J "Slim" Jackson and J. B. Jackson; his stepmother Flossie Jackson; and his former wife Ina Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Skinner of Michigan, Carolyn Bentley of Michigan, Julie Jane Hall of Michigan and Trish Fairfield of Michigan; his sisters, Imogene Jackson of East Brewton and Judy Toothill of Bay Minette; his stepdaughter Frances Wild of Brewton; his daughter-in-law Alana McCurdy (Steve) of Brewton; his daughter Reta Jackson of Georgiana; and his close friend Sheree James of Fairhope. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
