He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Blackwell and Lille Mae Stacey Blackwell; his granddaughter Shanna Boatwright; and his siblings, Florene Knowles of Gladys Knowles, William "Buddy" Blackwell, Lanier Blackwell, Mason Blackwell and Rapheal Blackwell.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Mosley Blackwell; and his children, Jason Blackwell (Tiffany) of Repton, Larry Stewart (Sharon) of Lottie, AL, Gail Fails (Elliott) of Excel, Karen McKinley of Monroeville, Janet Flowers of Riverdale, Sheila Andrews (Kenny) of Excel and Rita White (Steve) of Perdido. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
