He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ivey Edwards and Anna Belle Scott Edwards; his sister Yvonne Edwards Corbitt; and his wife Elizabeth Anne Roberts Edwards. He is survived by: his children, Michael I. Edwards (Maureen), Sandra E. Edwards, Carol E. Crook (Jimmy) and Steven L. Edwards (Sharon). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local church or charity.
