He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Grady Franklin and Lillie Elliott of Arizona; and his siblings, Frances Dodgens, Vernon G. Franklin, Dan Floyd Franklin and Morris G. Franklin.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Franklin of East Brewton, AL; his sons, Jason Franklin of Montgomery, AL and Marlin Franklin (Leslie) of Brewton, AL; his brother D. G. Franklin of Mobile, AL; his grandchildren, Matthew Franklin (Samantha), Tanner Franklin and Lily Franklin; and his great grandchild Aubree Franklin.
