He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ard and Jeanette Cain Ard; his daughter Tamara Marie Ard; his sister Nell Ard; and his father-in-law Marvin Bodiford.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Bodiford Ard of Brewton; his children, Kevin Ard (Lena) of Brewton, Patrick Ard of Brewton, Andrew Chavers of Brewton, Ashley Chavers of Brewton, Amanda Chavers (Kaylee Ard) of Mobile and Bufford (Betty Faye Madden); his niece Morgan Tyree (Eli) of Brewton; his siblings, Ronnie Ard of Tenn, Donnie Ard of Ala, Buck Ard of Brewton, Douglas Ard Brewton, Dwayne Ard of Ala, Randy Madden of Brewton, Ann Baggett of Brewton, Glenda Hartley of Tuscaloosa, Renea Kates of Milton and Peggy Kates of Milton; his grandson Mason Rayborn; and his mother-in-law Lenora Bodiford Coleman.
