He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hyte Barnett and Annie Elwanda Reeves Barnett; and his sister Deborah Ann Eliff. He is survived by: his wife Linda Barnett of Brewton; his children, Mike Barnett (Laura) of Brewton and Angie Gilley (Paul) of Cantonment, FL; his sister Karen Barnett of Concord, GA; his grandchildren, Adria Barnett and Kaitlyn Barnett; and his great grandchild A. J. Purvis.
