She was predeceased by: her husband J. D. Pugh; her parents, Horace Edward and Locie Nowling (Myrick); her siblings, Willard Nowling, G. W. Nowling (Buddy) and Elizabeth Nowling (Pumpkin); her son-in-law Joe Macks Pettis; and her great grandchild Clay Houghton.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Pugh (Debi) of Brewton, Linda Kay Butts (Lamar) of Brewton, Maria Pettis of Brewton, Stephen Pugh (Camille) of Brewton and Rachel Bahrami (Homand) of Muncie, Indiana; her sister Pearl Alford Beasley of Brewton, Alabama; her sister-in-law Jewel Haveard Nowling of Andalusia, Alabama; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Pugh, Josh Pugh (Elizabeth), LaDonna Shaw Cross (Joel), Lisa Bailey (Johnny), Rodney Butts (Jessica), Lora Lee Davis (Larry Wayne), Richard Pettis, Paul Pettis, David Pugh, Angela Houghton (Greg), Rebecca Fain, Anisa Bahrami and Ethan Bahrami. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
