She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruner Kirkland and Jessie Kirkland; and her siblings, Millard Kirkland, Viola Bell, Doris Segrest, Wilma Culp and Thelma Jernigan.
She is survived by: her husband Franklin Smith of Brewton, Alabama; her siblings, Levi Kirkland of Mobile and Glenda Barnes of Opelika, Alabama; and her children, Frank Smith of Pensacola, Mahlon Smith of Pensacola, Florida., Attn and Box.
