She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence McGowin; her parents, Samuel Howard and Cleatie Howard; and her brother Calvin Howard. She is survived by: her children, Clarence Lowell McGowin (Linda) of Brewton, Howard Larry McGowin of East Brewton and Lynne Sparks (Allen) of Brewton. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
