She was predeceased by: her husbands, Marvin Odell "Butch" Alford and Charles Beasley; her daughter Judy Alford Morgan; her siblings, Willard Nowling, Buddy Nowling and Jewel; her brother-in-law J. D. Pugh; her sister Alice Elizabeth Nowling; and her son-in-law Roy Harrison.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Catherine Whitehead (Carlos) of Repton, AL, Elizabeth Harrison of Flomaton, AL, Carolyn Madden (Larry) of Brewton, AL and Barbara Marshall (Will) of Goshen, IN; her sister-in-law Jewel Nowling; and her grandchildren, Gene Hardy, John Hardy, Julie Hardy, Dell Jackson, Grover Baggett, Andy Patton, Jennifer Polk, John Daw and Matthew Tierney. She is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
