He was predeceased by: his parents, Mace Singleton and Cora Singleton Cook; his daughter Patricia Ann Singleton; and his siblings, Beatrice "Bea" Hawkins, Flora Coleman, Alice Moore and Marvin Singleton.
He is survived by: his spouse Hazel Wilson Singleton of Brewton; his children, Mason Singleton (Sheila) of Bradley, Billy Ray Singleton (Karen) of East Brewton and Marie Scroggins (Tim) of Brewton; and his sister Dorothy Jernigan of Mobile. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.
